Hilary Swank is a glowing expectant mother. Yesterday, just hours after she revealed the news that she is pregnant with her third child, the actor stepped out in New York City in a low-key outfit that showed off her growing baby bump.
Swank swung by The Drew Barrymore Show looking like the most joyful mom while in a little white tank top that revealed her belly. To go with it, she wore low-rise blue jeans in a light wash, with wide legs that saw the fabric pool around her pointy black boots.
For a touch of bright color, the Million Dollar Baby star layered on a chunky knit cardigan in a rainbow of Easter hues: pinks, blues, yellows.
Earlier this week, Swank shared the news of her pregnancy via an Instagram post that showed her and her husband and kids wearing neon lights highlighting their bodies in a dark room, and at the center of Swank’s belly, she drew on a little baby in neon paint to share the news. The baby, she also noted, is due in December.
On Barrymore’s show yesterday, the actor who is 52, talked about the double-standard women face when having children later in life: “There’s a lot of backlash women get for having children older but not men, which is interesting,” she said.
She added, “I would rather be born and have that person that was my favorite person and experience that than not at all.”
Swank is already mom to three-year-old twins Aya and Ohm, with husband Philip Schneider, an American social venture entrepreneur.
