T.A.P.A.S. (The Andalucia Performing Arts Society) is preparing for an eventful autumn, with activities across the Costa del Sol offering opportunities to enjoy music, meet new people and get involved in community life. The non-profit organisation has also announced that Costa del Sol Specialist, a real estate company based in Coin, has become its new main sponsor.

What’s on this autumn?
The programme includes regular social activities as well as special events running into early December.
- The Gentle Walking Group meets on Wednesdays, with a different location each week. The next listed walk is on October 21, although participants should contact the society for the meeting point and details.

- On Thursday, November 5, Arts in Harmonie offers a creative afternoon with Angelien de Bruijn at Alhaurin Golf Club, from 5pm to 7.30pm.
- Choir lovers can look forward to the third FEMACO Choir Gathering in Malaga on Saturday, November 7. T.A.P.A.S. Choir will join other choirs from across the province, although the venue still needs confirmation.
- The society will take part in the Royal British Legion Remembrance Day service at Coin Municipal Cemetery on Wednesday, November 11, at noon.
- A further highlight is T.A.P.A.S. serves tapas on Saturday, November 21, at Casa Club Alhaurín Golf. The evening combines tapas with a live choir performance, with doors opening at 7pm.
- A Christmas performance at Coin’s Convento Santa María is listed for November 28, but the date and event are still to be confirmed. The choir is also scheduled to perform festive music at La Cala de Mijas town hall on Tuesday, December 1, at 5pm.
