A risk of showers on Saturday, but there should be sunny spells. Aemet suggests that any showers are most likely in the afternoon and could be heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms. There are no weather alerts for Saturday. These don't kick in until Sunday, which, along with Monday, is when Mallorca is expected to be most affected by the low in the western Med. The alerts for heavy rain are currently yellow (up to 20 litres of rain per square metre) and apply to the whole of the island from 10am to midnight. Alerts haven't been issued for Monday as of yet, but they almost certainly will be.
The met agency has declared this weather event the first storm of the 2026-2027 series. Adam is the name.
The outlook for next week continues to be for showers but with highs generally around 26C and so above average.
