Myles Garrett came to Dodger Stadium on Thursday hoping to witness a little October magic. Instead, the Los Angeles Rams superstar got a front-row seat to an October nightmare for Dodgers fans.
The reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year was spotted sitting behind home plate sporting a blue Dodgers hat and black T-shirt as Los Angeles desperately tried to stave off elimination against the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series.
For a few glorious innings, Garrett looked like he had picked the perfect night to visit Chavez Ravine.

When Shohei Ohtani launched his first home run in two months, a three-run blast in the second inning that gave the Dodgers a commanding 4-0 lead, Garrett joined the sold-out crowd in celebration.
But inevitably, then came the collapse.
Milwaukee began chipping away, manufacturing runs with walks, stolen bases, and singles. With the bases loaded and two outs, Alex Vesia walked Jake Bauers on four pitches, forcing home the tying run.
The television cameras immediately found Garrett behind home plate, his expression telling the entire story.
Absolute disbelief.
And somehow, it got worse.
One inning later, former All-Star closer Tanner Scott surrendered a go-ahead home run to Garrett Mitchell, putting Milwaukee ahead 5-4 and pushing the Dodgers dangerously close to seeing their season fall off a cliff.
So much for that three-peat.

For Garrett, watching helplessly from the stands was a familiar feeling. The Rams defensive end has been sidelined since undergoing a knee procedure on Sept. 14, and has been helpless in watching the Rams fall to a frustrating 2-3 on the season. Thankfully, Garrett is now eligible to begin his return process from injured reserve, but the Rams have no plans on rushing their prized pass rusher back just yet.
Unfortunately for Garrett, there was nothing he could do to stop the Dodgers’ bullpen from getting battered on Thursday night.
