I scrolled through H&M’s glamorous new designer collection – these are the party outfits I’m buying

I wasn’t quite ready to start thinking about party season, but H&M’s new collaboration with Elie Saab has officially changed that. Known for his dreamy, red-carpet-worthy creations, the Lebanese designer has brought a serious dose of glamour to the high street, and I’m obsessed. There are sweeping satin gowns with oversized bows, delicate lace blouses, shimmering sequins and statement accessories that can make even the simplest outfit feel special. It’s all incredibly chic, a little dramatic and has me so excited for the parties in my diary.

There are plenty of showstopping dresses, from floor-sweeping chiffon numbers to sculptural silhouettes, but it’s the separates that have really caught my eye. The embellished bodysuits, sequin trousers and beautiful lace tops are pieces you can easily mix and match with the staples already in your wardrobe. The funnel-collar leather jacket is so cool and is bound to sell out fast. And can we talk about the accessories? The corsage necklaces, bow-detail slingbacks and sleek leather shoulder bags are particularly good. Whether you’re dressing up for a Christmas party, a winter wedding or simply fancy an excuse to wear something fabulous, there’s plenty to get excited about.
