Curt Cignetti and the Indiana Hoosiers will have their hands full on Saturday. Ohio State all-time triple-crown champion Jeremiah Smith is blazing this season and shows no signs of cooling off.
Jeremiah Smith has 916 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns on 48 receptions this season. With an average of 19.1 yards per catch, Smith is on pace to finish the season with over 1,800 receiving yards.
“We can’t play at 12 or 13, so we’re up the creek I guess,” Cignetti said per On3.
Saturday's game between No. 4 Ohio State and No. 5 Indiana is a rematch of last year's Big Ten Championship Game. In that game, Smith had eight receptions for 144 yards.
Smith has been too much to handle for every team. Win or loss, he will steal the show. Can Indiana do enough to slow Smith down and get the edge over the Buckeyes?
Indiana hosts Ohio State on Saturday, October 17 (12 p.m. ET, Fox).
