Adrianne Curry put the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on blast for hiring Kylie Jenner for Sunday night’s show, saying the reality star doesn’t “have a model’s body.”
The inaugural “America’s Next Top Model” winner, now 44, made the comments during a livestream on Monday, saying, “Nothing against Kylie Jenner … you’re not a f–king model.”
“I don’t know why they put her in the mega bra,” Curry added, referencing the $50-million-dollar diamond-studded fantasy bra worn by the cosmetics maven on the runway — along with a dramatic pair of the brand’s legendary angel wings.
“That’s for the belle of the ball,” Curry continued. “That is for the top Victoria’s Secret Angel. “That is like winning homecoming queen, and they just give it to Jenner.”
The bra — created with Jacob & Co and featuring 4,410 natural diamonds, including a 75.54 carat fancy vivid yellow diamond — is, according to Victoria’s Secret, a “one-of-a-kind masterpiece.”
On Jenner, it was presented as the centerpiece of the show, following a tradition of fantasy bras dating back to 1996.
Curry was so incensed by Jenner’s inclusion in the show, she called the iconic lingerie brand “a joke.”
“In 2010, I would say Victoria’s Secret meant something,” she insisted. “Now it’s meaningless.”
The TV personality also blasted the brand’s contemporary commitment to inclusivity among its models.
“I could literally pull up missing an arm and a leg, and they’d be like, ‘Oh my God, yes, she’s perfect.’ How did I qualify? ‘You’re missing limbs.’ Oh, so virtuous. There’s no skill,” she raged.
Curry cited Adriana Lima as an example, stating that Victoria’s Secret “won’t take a chance on new models that they discovered walking in Brazil,” noting that’s “how they discovered” Lima.
“She wasn’t a big influencer. No one knew her,” Curry said, asserting that Lima — who, at 45, again walked the runway on Sunday for the 21st time — “was perfect.”
The model lamented, “Victoria’s Secret used to make megastars, not rely on virtue signaling and other people’s fame to make it.”
Curry said the brand now has to “rely on elderly Victoria’s Secret models” because “they’re clapping Kylie Jenner up there” instead of scouting new talent.
While Curry found some sympathy for her views on X — with several people writing that she’s “not wrong” — others pushed back, with one X user accusing her of “jealousy” over her views. Another joked that Curry’s comments reflected “the funniest billionaire fight of the year.”
Reps for Victoria’s Secret and Jenner did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Sunday’s star-studded event was held in Los Angeles and attended by Kylie’s boyfriend, Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet, and her mother, Kris Jenner.
Tate McRae performed — in lingerie — as models walked the runway. Other models including Barbara Palvin, Gigi Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio, Precious Lee, Amelia Gray Hamlin and many more also appeared during the celebrated annual show.
