Amad Diallo took to social media after Manchester United’s defeat to Atletico Madrid to voice his grievances over the game.
The attacker shared a snap of himself on the pitch along with the caption: “F*****g disgrace. I have no words.”

Amad had 24 minutes plus injury time to try and make an impact on the night, having dropped to the bench ahead of kick-off, with Marcus Rashford granted a start.
Yet, like the rest of the frontline, the Ivorian was unable to find a way past Jan Oblak or the Atleti defence. Throughout the contest, Bryan Mbeumo was United’s biggest threat, coming close with two clear-cut chances but failing to convert them.
Meanwhile, Amad’s bleak and blunt assessment of the affair came after Lisandro Martinez embarked on a fiery post-match rant to reporters.

The centre-half rued United’s lack of business in the summer, insisting that he and the rest of the squad had laid the foundations for a stronger side to be built ahead of 2026/2027, which INEOS opted against doing.
They only shelled out money on three midfield additions before calling it a day, with free agent goalkeeper Karl Darlow their only other arrival at Old Trafford.
Injuries across the team meant that 20-year-old duo Ayden Heaven and Leny Yoro were deployed from the off at the Metropolitano, the former of whom was being played out of position at left-back due to Luke Shaw, Patrick Dorgu and Noussair Mazraoui all being absent.

The Reds have now won only twice in their opening nine fixtures, and face a clash against rivals Leeds United – whose only league defeat this term has come at the hands of reigning champions Arsenal – on Sunday in Yorkshire.
