OK Savings Bank said on the 23rd that it has launched OK My Pet Savings, a daily-deposit savings product aimed at households with pets.
The product requires a fixed daily deposit of 10,000 won over 33 days, with preferential interest added in stages based on the cumulative number of deposits made.
The base rate is an annual 2.0% before taxes, and customers who meet all preferential conditions can earn up to an annual 15.0% before taxes. Agreeing to receive marketing information adds 2.0 percentage points, and registering a nickname for the savings account adds another 2.0 percentage points. On top of that, the cumulative deposit count adds further rates. With deposits of 10,000 won a day, every five cumulative deposits through the 30th day add 1.5 percentage points, reaching a maximum of 9.0 percentage points after 30 deposits.
An OK Savings Bank official said the product is "a new type of savings plan that combines the trend toward small-sum, short-term saving with pet culture," adding, "We will continue to introduce customer-friendly products."
