WASHINGTON, October 21. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump told reporters that he was trying to avoid making the wrong moves as he sought to help resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
"The last thing I want to do is upset an apple cart where we're getting close to settling a war," he said, commenting on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff.
"The last thing you're going to do is ‘let's do something horrendous’," Trump added.
