The Joint Counter Terrorism Training and Advisory Team has observed military training exercises at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, highlighting ongoing defence cooperation between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
The visit featured parachuting exercises led by the school’s Commandant, Major General MN Inuwa, alongside live-firing drills and physical training.
The team said the exercises demonstrated the professionalism, discipline and rigorous preparation required to equip the next generation of Nigerian infantry soldiers for future military operations.
The visit also underscored the strong defence partnership between both countries and their commitment to sustained cooperation in counter-terrorism training and military capacity development.
The development was disclosed in a post shared by the UK mission, which tagged the Nigerian Army Headquarters, the British High Commission in Nigeria and the UK Ministry of Defence.
