The Golden State Valkyries are looking to jump out to a 2-0 series lead over the visiting Atlanta Dream in the 2026 WNBA Finals at Ballhalla, but it won’t be easy after a hardfought Game 1.
Ahead of Game 2, Valkyries star Gabby Williams paid tribute to the Bay Area, since Golden State won’t be the only local team in action.
While the Valkyries are facing off against Angel Reese and the Dream at the Chase Center, the San Francisco 49ers will be going head-to-head with the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football.
Williams gave a shoutout to her fellow San Francisco squad by pulling up to the arena in a Deebo Samuel 49ers jersey. That’s how you play to the crowd.

The Defensive Player of the Year runner-up’s +/- of +16 was what it took for the Valkyries to mount their comeback, outscoring the dream 17-8 in the final quarter.
Game 2 between the Dream and Valkyries is set to tip-off at 8:00 p.m. ET on the USA Network, CNBC, and E!, with live streaming available on Peacock. The Valkyries are slight 1.5-point favorites at home, while the over/under is set for 152.5 total points.
