KUALA LUMPUR: Johor Darul Ta'zim's (JDT) Shahab Zahedi and Bergson da Silva have been named among Transfermarkt's top goalscoring pairings alongside several of Europe's leading names.
Shahab and Bergson rank fourth on the football database list with a combined total of 21 goal contributions.
They feature alongside Barcelona's Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, as well as Benfica's Vangelis Pavlidis and Gianluca Prestianni, who both recorded 23 goal contributions.
Bayern Munich's Harry Kane and Michael Olise are also on the list with 18.
Bergson remains a key figure in JDT's attack, while Shahab provides a complementary presence to form a formidable striking partnership.
Their partnership was on display in the Super League match against Terengganu on Oct 18, when both players scored in JDT's 3-0 win.
Bergson opened the scoring in the 26th minute before Shahab added the final goal in the 89th minute.
While the ranking depends on the statistical timeframe used, Shahab and Bergson's inclusion highlights JDT's attacking capability.
