The International Cricket Council (ICC) has recognised all matches in the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) as List A T20 fixtures, giving players’ performances official statistical standing.
The matches will be played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur from October 26 to November 21.
The recognition means players’ performances will count towards official T20 statistics, raising the profile of Nepali cricket.
Paras Khadka, secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), said the recognition would contribute to the development and professionalisation of cricket in the country while strengthening its international standing.
The tournament will feature eight teams.
