Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort has once again taken home three titles at the World Travel Awards 2026, marking the fourth consecutive year the resort has been recognised across the Asia, Indonesia and Bali categories. The awards were announced during the 33rd Annual World Travel Awards, held at Crossroads Maldives on 27 September 2026, bringing together leading names from the global travel and hospitality industry.
For the fourth consecutive year, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort was named:
- Asia’s Leading Resort 2026
- Indonesia’s Leading Resort 2026
- Bali’s Leading Family Resort 2026
The continued recognition across three different categories reflects the resort’s ability to appeal to a broad range of travellers, from international guests seeking a luxury beachfront escape to families looking for a destination that combines space, comfort and genuine Balinese hospitality.
“It is incredibly meaningful to receive these three awards again, and even more so to achieve this recognition for the fourth consecutive year,” said Jean-Pierre Joncas, General Manager of Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. “For us, these awards are not simply about maintaining a position. They are a reflection of the people behind the experience, our colleagues who show up every day with care, consistency and a genuine desire to make every guest feel welcome.”
Located within the integrated resort area of Nusa Dua, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort combines a beachfront setting with contemporary luxury and a strong sense of place. Over the past 12 years, the resort has continued to evolve its guest experience while remaining rooted in the service culture that has shaped its identity.
The fourth consecutive World Travel Awards sweep comes at a significant moment for the resort, reinforcing its position not only as a luxury resort in Bali but also as a destination capable of delivering a consistently high standard of experience to both international and domestic travellers.
For the team at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort, however, the recognition is less about looking back and more about what comes next.
“We are grateful for the trust that our guests, partners and industry peers continue to place in us,” added Joncas. “There is always more to improve, more to create and more ways to make a stay at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua feel special.”
With this recognition at the World Travel Awards, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort continues to build on its reputation as one of Bali’s leading luxury resorts while keeping its focus where it has always mattered most: the guest experience.
