Match number one of the Vinicíus Júnior suspension cycle, and it was Endrick who would get the nod in his place, with Yan Diomande starting on the opposite flank. Arda Güler also came into the midfield, as Fede Valverde captained the side.

The game started off pretty dull, until Arda Güler scored the first goal of the evening half-an-hour into play. This broke the deadlock, as Kylian Mbappé would make it two before half-time from inside the area, sending his side into the break with a very positive scoreline.
Good half. Not perfect, but fun, great energy. Simple things work: Huijsen and Güler have brought really good verticality and composure. Endrick and Yan are raw, but that's ok — they're fearless and work hard and the rest will come. Fede in this role works better. Arda too good

A similar story in the second-half saw a slow start, before Mbappé doubled his tally from the penalty spot. Sevilla managed to grab a goal, before Yan Diomande cut out any chances of a comeback with a powerful strike – assisted by Aurélien Tchouaméni. Full-time, 4-2 to Real Madrid and a very convincing win. What were your big takeaways from the game?
