Unlike a lot of AI features, most of Samsung’s Galaxy AI tools are genuinely useful. Transcript, Call, and Note Assist are awesome tools, and Samsung is bringing those and more to more users and languages.
The smart tools added to the Galaxy S series in the last couple of years with improved versions of One UI have made the devices better for a lot of users. Call Assist alone has been a wonderful addition, and its features have branched out into other tools that make the Galaxy S25, S26, and others more functional.
Samsung recently said Galaxy AI features added support for more languages. Call Assist, Note Assist, Interpreter, and Transcript Assist added Hungarian and Malay support.
Now Nudge is adding eight languages:
- Dutch
- Filipino
- Gujarati
- Hungarian
- Malay
- Romanian
- Swedish
- Turkish
The majority of functions under the Galaxy AI umbrella now support 24 languages in total. Samsung even included Bixby in the list, noting that it added support for Thai, Polish, and Vietnamese to bring its total to 12.
The addition of these features doesn’t just directly impact those who speak the added languages, since most of these features are built to bridge the gap between languages. The language expansion means they can be used in more situations.
Samsung notes these added languages won’t be available immediately. The press release says Galaxy AI will roll out support for more regions “in the coming weeks.” Timing isn’t specifically nailed down, but it probably won’t take much time.
