(ANSA) - RABAT, 12 OTT - The Italian diplomatic mission in Morocco is celebrating the 100th anniversary of ICE, the Italian Trade Agency. In Casablanca, in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Morocco, Pasquale Salzano, a gathering was held to celebrate a century of commitment to supporting businesses “to foster their growth in international markets and promote ‘Made in Italy’ around the world.” According to Salzano, “Italian exports have reached approximately 650 billion euros, and the goal set by Minister Tajani is to reach 700 billion by 2027. This is a challenge that involves the entire Italian economic system and is based on the strength of our companies.” According to the Italian ambassador, “Morocco is an increasingly important economic partner for Italy. In 2025, bilateral trade neared 5 billion euros, and our exports grew by 8 percent. Now the real challenge is not just to export more. It is to strengthen the presence of Italian companies in Morocco, encourage new investments, and build lasting industrial partnerships capable of creating value for both countries.”
