Below is today's quote roundup from leading crypto desks on Bitcoin's near-term structure.
Mudrex: Liquidation Shock Meets a Bullish Crossover
Prateek Gupta, Head of Business at Mudrex, said Bitcoin found support near USD 81,000. Long positions worth USD 120 million unwound within 15 minutes. He noted the first bullish 13/34-week moving average crossover in 3.5 years. US CPI and Fed Chair Warsh's Friday remarks remain key catalysts.
Delta Exchange: Resistance Cluster Decides the Next Move
Riya Sehgal, Research Analyst at Delta Exchange, said Bitcoin is testing a resistance cluster between USD 82,900 and USD 83,400. A sustained break could open USD 84,000 to USD 84,500. Failure keeps USD 81,000 to USD 82,000 vulnerable, with USD 80,000 as critical support.
CoinSwitch: Yields and the Dollar Shape Sentiment
The CoinSwitch Markets Desk said rising Treasury yields, a stronger dollar and midterm election uncertainty shaped sentiment. Bitcoin still consolidates below the USD 86,000 to USD 87,000 resistance zone. Bitmine added 12,532 ETH, while softer inflation data could ease bond yields and support momentum.

US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Record Nearly USD 680 Million in Weekly Outflows
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of about USD 680 million last week, according to data from SoSoValue and Bitfinex. It was the first weekly outflow since early September. The exit was also the largest since late June.
Weak fund demand leaves spot buyers carrying the market. Bitfinex says ETF sessions must return to small net inflows for Bitcoin to reclaim USD 84,000. Until that happens, rallies may fade near resistance levels.
US CPI Report Sets the Tone for Bitcoin on Wednesday
Traders await the US inflation report due on October 14. Bitfinex expects Bitcoin to trade between USD 81,300 and USD 84,500 in the release. Core PCE inflation already stands at 3%, and most Fed officials expect another hike.
A core CPI reading of 0.2% or less would lower rate expectations and ease Treasury yields. A print of 0.3% or higher would keep pressure on spot demand. BTSE warned a hot reading could push Bitcoin below USD 80,000.
Strategy Adds 250 Bitcoin and Buys Back USD 192 Million of STRC
Strategy bought 250 BTC for USD 21.5 million, lifting its holdings to 848,250 BTC. The company also repurchased USD 192.4 million of STRC preferred stock through October 11, according to CoinMarketCap data published today.
Investors already price in recurring Strategy purchases, so the added support looks modest. A larger buy would strengthen the dip-buying case. A pause, however, could invite caution among long-term holders and cap rebounds.
FSB Pushes Stablecoin Oversight Ahead of the G20 Meeting
The Financial Stability Board called for stronger cross-border monitoring of global stablecoins ahead of the G20 meeting on October 15. The regulator also flagged risks linked to artificial intelligence in financial markets and wider market stability.
Tighter oversight could affect issuers and exchanges operating across several jurisdictions. Tether and USDC together hold over USD 256 billion in market cap. Any policy shift will draw close attention from traders.
South Korea Moves to Block 27 Overseas Exchanges
South Korea's Financial Intelligence Unit announced on October 13 that 27 unregistered overseas exchanges face access blocks or closures. KuCoin and MEXC are among the platforms named. The step tightens oversight of offshore venues serving Korean traders.
Korea has long been an active retail market, so access changes can affect altcoin trading volumes. Traders will track whether offshore platforms seek registration or lose Korean users in the coming weeks. Local exchanges may gain share.

Investor and Market Outlook
Bitcoin holds above the USD 81,000 support zone, while USD 84,500 remains the first major resistance. A close above USD 83,400 could open that level, while a break below USD 80,963 may expose USD 80,000. US CPI on October 14 is the next catalyst. Investors should favor staggered entries, modest sizing and low leverage.
