সৌদি আরব ও ইয়েমেনের ইরান সমর্থিত হুথি গোষ্ঠীর মধ্যে সংঘর্ষের ঝাঁজ ক্রমশই বাড়ছে। মঙ্গলবার হুথি অধিকৃত ইয়েমেনের রাজধানী সানার পশ্চিম প্রান্তে আল-সাবাহতে একটি তৈল শোধনাগারে হামলা চালিয়েছে রিয়াধ। সমাজ মাধ্যমে ভাইরাল হয়েছে এই হামলার ভিডিয়ো। অন্য দিকে, সৌদির হামলার কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই হুথি বাহিনীও পাল্টা হামলা চালায়। আরবের ধাহরন এলাকায় Aramco (Arabian American Oil Company)-র প্রশাসনিক ভবনে মিসাইল হামলা করে হুথিরা।
সমাজ মাধ্যমে ইয়েমেনের তৈল শোধনাগারে রিয়াধের হামলার ভিডিয়োটি ভাইরাল হয়েছে। তাতে দেখা গিয়েছে, এয়ার স্ট্রাইকে ইয়েমেনের ওই তৈল শোধনাগারটির একাংশ ভয়াবহ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। ঘন, কালো ধোঁয়ায় ঢেকে গিয়েছে আকাশ। The Associate Press এবং AFP-র রিপোর্ট অনুযায়ী, তৈল শোধনাগারে হামলার মুহূর্তে বিকট শব্দে বিস্ফোরণ হতে শোনা যায়। মুহূর্তের মধ্যে আতঙ্ক ছড়িয়ে পড়ে এলাকায়।
যদিও, এই হামলার কিছুক্ষণ আগেই একটি নির্দেশিকা জারি করে সৌদি আরবের সরকার। সেই নির্দেশিকায় সানার তৈল শোধনাগারের নিকটবর্তী এলাকায় বসবাসকারীদের দ্রুত সরে যাওয়ার নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়। তবে, তৈল শোধনাগারে হামলায় ইয়েমেনে জ্বালানি সঙ্কট হবে না বলেই জানিয়েছে হুথি বাহিনী। তাদের দাবি, দেশের নাগরিকদের জন্য আলাদা করে তেল মজুত করা হয়েছে।
হামলার হুঁশিয়ারি হুথিদের
রিয়াধের হামলার পরেই হুথি বাহিনীর ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেল ইয়াহা সারি টেলিগ্রামে একটি বার্তা দিয়ে জানান যে, সৌদির এই হামলার কড়া জবাব দেওয়া হবে। তিনি হুঁশিয়ারি দেন, সানার উপরে হামলার জবাব সৌদির জন্য কঠিন এবং যন্ত্রণাদায়ক হতে চলেছে। ইয়াহার এই হুঁশিয়ারির কিছুক্ষণ পরেই সৌদি আরবের পূর্বদিকে ধাহরণ শহরে Aramco-র একটি প্রশাসনিক ভবনে আছড়ে পড়ে ব্যালিস্টিক মিসাইল।
Saudi Arabia is striking back! And the Houthis have nobody but themselves to blame! For a week, Iran’s Houthi proxies have been attacking Saudi airports and energy infrastructure! Their attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh have killed civilians and wounded hundreds, while disrupting airport operations. Now the Saudi-led coalition is responding with strikes against Houthi positions and infrastructure across Yemen! Today, the coalition issued a rare public evacuation warning for civilians near the Al-Sabaha Central Station, a Yemen Petroleum Company facility on the western outskirts of Sana’a. Coalition spokesman Major General Turki al-Maliki released a map of the target and urged civilians to leave before a planned precision operation. Shortly afterwards, explosions were reported in Sana’a, with Houthi media and local witnesses reporting a strike on the facility. Further reported strikes have targeted Ras Isa port, oil infrastructure in Hodeidah province, and areas in Saada, Al-Jawf, Kamaran Island and Qanawis. Meanwhile, the coalition says it intercepted three drones north of Riyadh. The Houthis claim to have shot down a Saudi drone over Saada. And what is the Houthi response? More threats! Their military spokesman, Yahya Saree, has threatened a “firm and painful” response against Riyadh, specifically naming King Khalid International Airport and Saudi Aramco facilities. The Houthis have even urged civilians and employees near Saudi energy installations to evacuate, while declaring those facilities legitimate targets. Think about that. An armed militia attacks civilian airports, threatens energy infrastructure and openly warns that it intends to strike again! And these are the people pretending to defend Yemen!? Let's not forget the bigger picture. After the Houthis seized territory along Yemen's Red Sea coast near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, government forces launched the Dawn of Yemen counteroffensive with coalition support. Yemen's internationally recognised government is fighting to restore state authority. Saudi Arabia is defending its national security against an Iranian-backed militia that has turned Yemen into a platform for regional aggression. The Houthis chose this escalation. They chose to attack Saudi Arabia. They chose to threaten civilian infrastructure. Now they are discovering that Saudi Arabia will not simply stand by and watch! My position is clear: 🇸🇦 Stand with Saudi Arabia. 🇾🇪 Stand with Yemen's legitimate government. ❌ End the Iranian-backed Houthi coup. 🛡️ Protect civilians and restore Yemen's sovereignty. The Houthis are not Yemen. Iran's proxies do not have the right to hold an entire country hostage! Disarm them or defeat them. Yemen deserves better.

সৌদিতে কোথায় কোথায় হামলা?
Aramco-র তরফে জানানো হয়, মঙ্গলবার গভীর রাতে সৌদির পূর্বদিকে সংস্থার একটি অফিসের ভবনে মিসাইল আছড়ে পড়ে। এই হামলায় ভবনের উপরের তিনটি তলায় আগুন লেগে গিয়ে সম্পূর্ণ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। তবে, এই হামলায় কোনও প্রাণহানি হয়নি বলেই জানা গিয়েছে। এর পাশাপাশি, ধাহরানের একটি জনবসতি পূর্ণ এলাকাতেও মিসাইল হামলা চালিয়েছিল হুথিরা। সেই মিসাইল মাঝ আকাশেই রুখে দেয় সৌদির সেনাবাহিনী। তবে, এই মিসাইলের টুকরো ছড়িয়ে পড়ে ওই এলাকায়। এতে কোনও ক্ষয়ক্ষতি হয়েছে কি না জানা যায়নি। সৌদি আরবের সরকার জানিয়েছে, মঙ্গলবার রাতে রিয়াধেও ড্রোন হামলা চালানো হয়। তবে, সেই ড্রোনও রুখে দিয়েছে সৌদির বাহিনী।
