For Jasmine Tookes, jewelry is more than an accessory; it’s a keepsake that captures a particular moment in your life. The pieces we collect become markers of the people, places, and moments that mean the most to us. With the holiday season fast approaching, the supermodel is bringing the idea of jewelry as a lasting keepsake to the forefront of her latest project with Jared.
Jasmine stars alongside her husband, Juan David Borrero, and fellow supermodel Martha Hunt in the jeweler’s new “Season to Dream” holiday campaign. Inspired by the art of gifting, the accompanying photos celebrate the ways jewelry can signify milestones, hold memories, and say the things we sometimes struggle to put into words.
“I’ve always loved Jared’s craftsmanship and its attention to detail,” Tookes tells ELLE. “They’re really great at creating really nice, personal pieces for gifting, whether it’s for the holidays or just to say thank you.”
The partnership also marks the couple’s first-ever jewelry campaign together. Shot by David Lipman, the images gave the couple the chance to do a little acting, from walking through the store to pretending to shop together. “My husband said, ‘This is so fun. Bring your husband to work day,’” Tookes adds. “It was very special.”

Luckily, her other half is already a gifting expert. Tookes describes Borrero as an especially thoughtful gift-giver who notices all the little hints she drops along the way. “He pays attention to anything I say or anything he notices that I’m looking at,” she says. “He likes to give very intentional and thoughtful gifts.”
Jewelry has become one of their gifting go-tos. “We also love giving each other jewelry because I feel like jewelry is something that can last forever,” Tookes says. “And you remember those exact memories.”
Becoming a mother has only deepened that connection. Tookes still has pieces of jewelry that belonged to her great-grandmother, and now finds herself thinking about her own collection in the context of pieces that last. Rather than buying into trends with pieces that might lose their appeal over time, she sees jewelry as an investment, saving meaningful pieces for her daughter to eventually pass down and use to mark special milestones. “I think it has so many good personal touches to it that can last beyond me,” she says.

For those looking to start a forever collection of their own, Tookes has curated a 15-piece holiday edit for Jared. Her personal favorite is a timeless classic: the tennis bracelet. “It’s easy to wear with everything,” she says. “It’s not too overpowering. You could really have just a white T-shirt on and jeans, and it just does it all.”
And when it comes to who she’d love to see unwrap a special Jared piece this year, Tookes already has someone in mind. “Probably my mom,” she says. “My mom loves jewelry.” Can you blame her?
