Concord has held the groundbreaking ceremony for Concord Horizon Tower, a commercial development in Dhaka's Tejgaon Industrial Area designed to offer office space, modern building systems and shared amenities.
The project will be developed on approximately 40 katha of land, with four basement levels, a ground floor and 11 upper floors, according to the press release.
Planned as a commercial destination for businesses seeking a well-connected address in Dhaka, the tower will combine contemporary architecture with efficient floor layouts.
The building will have four lifts and parking facilities. Office floor sizes will vary, with several floors offering more than 12,000 square feet of space.
Planned facilities include fire safety and building security systems, building management and automation systems, energy-efficient and green features, office automation and smart access control.
Shared amenities will include a café, gym and swimming pool, intended to support a comfortable and contemporary working environment.
Located within one of Dhaka's established commercial zones, the development will offer access to key business areas and other major parts of the city.
The groundbreaking ceremony marked the formal start of construction and the expansion of Concord's commercial development portfolio.
Concord said it had contributed to Bangladesh's real estate and construction sector for decades through residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.
Through Horizon Tower, the company aims to create a distinctive commercial address for modern businesses and contribute to Dhaka's evolving commercial landscape.
