Goddess Durga has arrived on earth once again after the turn of the year. In this festive atmosphere, many celebrities are more or less celebrating this festival. However, for film actresses Bidya Sinha Mim, Puja Cherry Roy and Apu Biswas — these days are a little more special for them.
Today, we delved into the social media pages of the stars to learn about their preparations and plans for worship on ‘Maha Saptami’.
Travelling and festival-loving actress Bidya Sinha Mim’s life is a bit different! While she organises Iftar at her home during the holy month of Ramadan and dresses up for Eid out of respect for religious harmony, she is in a colourful mood during Durga Puja, the main festival of her religion.
Dressed in a red saree, she shared various moments taken from the mandap in a traditional look with her fans.
On the other hand, actress Puja Cherry is busy roaming around the pavilion. Posting some interesting pictures taken in front of the statue, she wrote, “The Goddess is not just in the statue, but in the courage of every woman, in every protest, in every story of standing up anew! May the city be adorned with lights, the path adorned with flowers, and may every tired heart find peace in the blessings of the mother! Happy Saptami.”
Although she used to enjoy Durga Puja quite a lot, actress Apu Biswas’s festival celebrations have now come to a halt. She lost her mother several years ago; so perhaps the joy of the puja has faded for her now.
Recently, Apu told the media that she is staying in Dhaka during this puja holidays.
Although there are no special arrangements, her hope is that this puja will bring joy to everyone and maintain a festive atmosphere.
However, although a photo of a new photoshoot in traditional attire has been seen on her Facebook page, no scene of her going to the pavilion has yet been seen.
‘Maha Saptami’ is over and ‘Bijoya Dashami’ is just a few days away. The rest of the stars have not yet posted any new posts on social media regarding the puja. Fans hope that every star will spend this special festival with colourful joy.
