As Filipino families make long-term financial and personal decisions, the stability and track record of the organizations they choose have become increasingly important considerations. For Forest Lake Development, Inc., the confidence of established financial institutions in the company’s operations provides an independent indication of the strength, stability, and long-term viability of the business, a legacy it has built for over nearly three decades.
Developing partnerships with leading financial institutions such as ATRAM, China Bank, BDO, BPI, UnionBank, Bank of Florida, Bank of Makati, and Top Bank, Forest Lake has long proven its financial strength and capacity to sustain responsible growth.
Financial institutions conduct comprehensive financial, legal, operational, and risk assessments before extending private credit facilities. Forest Lake’s partnerships therefore reflect the confidence these institutions have placed in the company’s corporate governance, business practices, and long-term strategy.
“Trust is not built overnight — it is earned through years of responsible leadership, consistent performance, and honoring our commitments to the families we serve. The confidence that respected financial institutions continue to place in Forest Lake reflects the strength of our organization and our unwavering commitment to making memorial care more accessible for every Filipino family,” said Alfred Xerez-Burgos III, President and Chief Executive Officer of Forest Lake Development, Inc.
He added, “Developing partnerships with established financial institutions such as ATRAM, China Bank, BDO, BPI, UnionBank, Bank of Florida, Bank of Makati, and Top Bank represents far more than access to growth capital. They are a strong affirmation of the trust these respected institutions have placed in Forest Lake’s financial strength, governance, and long-term vision. More importantly, they enable us to continue expanding our memorial parks and Total Memorial Care services so that more Filipino families can plan with confidence, secure today’s value, and prepare for tomorrow.”
Against an evolving economic landscape shaped by inflationary pressures, geopolitical developments, and changing market conditions, institutional confidence also underscores the resilience of Forest Lake’s business and its long-term approach to growth.
These financial partnerships support Forest Lake as it continues to expand its nationwide presence and strengthen its Total Memorial Care ecosystem which includes memorial parks, memorial chapels, columbariums, cremation and interment services, as well as services such as Libre Burol and Libing Anywhere — continued investments intended to make memorial care more accessible to Filipinos, while providing families with a broader range of services as they plan for their future needs.
For Forest Lake, the company’s ability to attract and maintain relationships with established financial institutions reflects the strength of the underlying business while providing additional capacity for future investments.
Jose Antonio Xerez-Burgos, Director of Finance of Forest Lake Development Inc., said the confidence of the company’s financial partners follows the rigorous assessment typically undertaken before private credit facilities are extended.
“Private credit facilities are extended only after comprehensive financial, operational, and risk evaluations. The confidence shown by our banking partners reflects Forest Lake’s disciplined financial management, strong business fundamentals, and commitment to sustainable growth,” he affirmed.
This confidence from leading financial institutions also provides another dimension to the trust that Forest Lake seeks to establish with its customers.
For families making decisions about memorial care, choosing a company with established operations, responsible financial management, and a demonstrated capacity for long-term growth can provide greater assurance that the organization they entrust with their plans will remain positioned to serve them in the years ahead.
As Forest Lake continues to develop and expand its memorial parks nationwide, planning ahead allows families to secure memorial property at prevailing prices while preparing for future needs. Continued park development, expansion, and broader market conditions may contribute to property appreciation over time. Purchasing in advance therefore gives families the advantage of securing current rates while providing the peace of mind of having an important future need already planned for.
“These partnerships strengthen our capacity to continue investing in new memorial parks, expanded Total Memorial Care services, and customer-focused innovations. More importantly, they reinforce the confidence that families can have in Forest Lake as a financially stable organization committed to serving them for generations to come,” Jose Antonio Xerez-Burgos shared.
As the company continues to expand its nationwide network and Total Memorial Care services, it remains focused on strengthening the accessibility, quality, and continuity of the care it provides — reinforcing the confidence placed in Forest Lake by both Filipino families and the financial institutions that support its long-term growth.
