Gloucestershire's Daaryoush 'Daz' Ahmed has extended his contract with the club until the end of 2027.
The 26-year-old all-rounder from Bristol has played 23 times for the club across all three formats of the game.
He scored a career-high first-class score of 90 not out from 117 balls against Middlesex in the County Championship earlier this year and has taken six wickets.
In the One Day Cup he took figures of 4-56 and hit 48 from 38 balls in a three-wicket win over Northamptonshire.
"He's put his heart and soul into trying to improve as a cricketer over the past year, and we've seen glimpses of some really good performances from him across the season," Gloucestershire director of cricket Jon Lewis told the club website.
"I think the contract extension shows that we're really keen on investing in him, and we feel there's a future for him here at Gloucestershire."
Ahmed added: "Gloucestershire is a club that means a lot to me and to my family.
"Growing up in Bristol and having played for the club from a young age, to continue my career here at Gloucestershire is brilliant news, and I'm looking forward to what the next year holds."
