MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to order the army to refrain from launching strikes against Ukraine precisely on the day of the country's elections, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"The president has already spoken about this, but in this case, I can say with full responsibility on his behalf that if Kiev truly wants to hold elections, then the Russian president, as supreme commander-in-chief, will be ready to order the army not to launch strikes against Ukraine on election day. Specifically on election day. This is a very important clarification," the spokesman emphasized.
