Being a Miami Dolphins fan has not been easy lately, and the team’s latest announcement has given supporters another reason to complain. With wins hard to come by, many expected the franchise to give its loyal ticket holders a reason to stick around, not ask them to pay more.
Instead, the Dolphins are raising season-ticket prices for 2027, and fans on X are making their frustration clear. The team has its reasons for the increase, but supporters aren’t convinced they’re getting enough in return.
Dolphins Raise 2027 Season-Ticket Prices as Fans Voice Frustration
The Miami Dolphins have informed season-ticket members that prices will increase for the 2027 season despite the team’s winless start. Most standard seats will cost 3% more, while premium club areas and popular shaded seats will see larger increases.
The timing has frustrated fans, particularly with Miami struggling on the field. The team had frozen or slightly reduced prices during the previous renewal cycle, making the latest announcement harder for some supporters to accept.
The Dolphins have pointed to the NFL’s scheduling format as part of the explanation. Miami will host nine regular-season games in 2027, one more than this season, along with an exhibition game.
However, that reasoning has done little to quiet the reaction on X.
One fan expressed frustration with the renewal notice, writing, “The absolute AUDACITY the Miami Dolphins have by sending out a STH renewal email WITH RAISED MEMBERSHIP RATES!!”
The criticism also shows the gap between ticket costs and the team’s recent results. Miami supporters have gone decades without seeing the franchise win a playoff game, leaving some questioning the value of paying more while the team struggles.

Another fan highlighted that frustration by comparing Miami with Kansas City, writing, “We are 0-5, in a rebuild, and haven’t won a playoff game in over a decade. Chiefs are 5-0 with multiple Super Bowl wins.”
The renewal process has also raised concerns about how quickly members must make a decision. The first automatic payments are scheduled for Nov. 17, meaning fans who want to cancel must act before the billing date.

One supporter reacted to the announcement with disbelief, writing, “I wasn’t sure if I read that right… They got us again.”
Others turned to sarcasm when discussing the financial side of the franchise. One fan joked, “They gotta pay Tua somehow lol,” referring to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and the financial commitments associated with his contract.
One supporter directly targeted owner Stephen Ross, writing, “They’re insane. They also have the worst owner in sports.”
Another fan offered a shorter, sarcastic take on Miami’s current direction: “Tanks and rebuilds aren’t cheap.”
With prices rising and results disappointing supporters, the Dolphins now face a challenge beyond the field. The renewal decision has put the relationship between the franchise and its loyal ticket holders under fresh scrutiny.
