Delhi Police have registered two FIRs against 14 Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) members following protests at Jantar Mantar. The charges include trespass, disobeying official orders, obstructing police personnel and criminal conspiracy. CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have been sent to five days of judicial custody. The police action has sparked criticism from Opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal and Abhijeet Dipke, who questioned the arrests and defended the right to peaceful protest.
