President Donald Trump has gone on a manic posting spree on social media, sharing a shocking clip of a Yorkshire man being attacked by a tiger.
Just days after William Chapman, 24, was mauled by a Siberian tiger at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Trump shared images of his last moments.
Trump added a message: ‘Don’t ever mess with nature!’
The video, which Metro will not be sharing due to its graphic nature, shows Chapman lying on the ground and seemingly pleading with the tiger to leave him alone before the animal begins biting him.
Trump also shared an AI video of himself in the tiger’s enclosure, in which he outwitted the animal as ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’ played in the background.
In the AI video, Trump appeared to befriend the tiger after rolling around with it and play fighting.
Chapman filmed his last moments as he approached Altai, a five-year-old endangered Amur tiger and posted it on Instagram after falling into the animal’s enclosure.
Eyewitnesses, who can be heard screaming in the background for help, said they saw the cat pounce on the man and maul him to death.
In a statement, his family said that he had suffered from ‘significant mental illness’ over a number of years and had been prescribed ‘strong medication’.
‘William was a bright, warm and engaging young man whom his family dearly loved – and William loved them back,’ their statement said.
‘The family are utterly devastated by their loss and are struggling to come to terms with what has happened.
‘The family are hopeful that the relevant authorities will do their utmost to get to the bottom of why our amazing son did what he did.’
A coroner is set to determine if his undisclosed mental illness played any role in his death.
He is said to have entered the pen wearing headphones after asking for a photo and pacing around near it, with witnesses claiming he was seen dancing to ‘psyche himself up’ moments before.
William, who was visiting the park alone, suffered fatal injuries in the attack and was pronounced dead at the scene.
