The organisers of the 6th Inter Tourism Expo Accra (INTTA) 2026 have officially released the conference agenda, outlining three days of high-level discussions, investment presentations, policy engagements and business networking aimed at positioning Ghana as a competitive 24-hour investment economy.
Scheduled for 21–23 October 2026 at the Ridge Royal Hotel in Cape Coast, the Expo will convene tourism and hospitality professionals, investors, government representatives, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, development partners, innovators and international delegates to explore opportunities across tourism, trade, agribusiness, ecotourism, digital innovation, infrastructure and regional industrial development.
The event is organised under the theme, “6th Inter Tourism Expo (INTTA) and the 24-Hour Africa Economy, Agribusiness, Digital Sovereignty & AfCFTA Industrial Acceleration Conference and Investment Programme.”
The release of the agenda marks a significant step towards bringing public- and private-sector stakeholders together to identify investment opportunities, strengthen institutional partnerships and translate discussions into commercially viable initiatives.
Three days of policy dialogue, investment and enterprise development
Day One, Wednesday, 21 October, will focus on Tourism, Trade and National Development, under the theme “Positioning Ghana as a 24-Hour Investment Economy.” The programme will feature a fireside chat on investment and collaboration, a panel on fintech, banking and cross-border payments, an overview of Ghana’s positioning within the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and discussions on investment promotion and public-private partnerships.
The opening programme will also include diplomatic and diasporan remarks, cultural performances, a keynote address, a masterclass on tourism as infrastructure investment, and a Public-Private Partnerships Forum examining how institutional collaboration can advance Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy agenda.
Day Two, Thursday, 22 October, will focus on Investment Marketplace and Deal Flow, with the theme “From Vision to Transactions.” Discussions will address modular energy solutions for tourism and hospitality, digital infrastructure and fintech, hospitality real estate, agribusiness, agro-processing, agrotourism, ecotourism and health tourism.
A major feature of the day will be the Investment Pitch Sessions, which are designed to connect investment-ready companies and project sponsors with potential investors and relevant financial and institutional partners. Participating enterprises will present opportunities across the designated investment tracks, creating a platform for investor engagement, due diligence discussions and potential partnerships.
Day Three, Friday, 23 October, will examine 24-Hour Economy Policy and Youth-Led Entrepreneurship, with particular attention to the role of tourism in round-the-clock economic activity.
The programme will feature discussions on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), artificial intelligence as a tool for transforming youth-led side businesses into scalable enterprises, and the role of tourism in Ghana’s economic transformation. A policy keynote address by Augustus Obuadum Tanoh, Presidential Adviser for Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy Authority, is scheduled, alongside a fireside chat on positioning tourism as a driver of Ghana’s round-the-clock transformation.
The Youth Creative Changemakers Innovation Zone will provide a platform for selected youth-led ventures and creative initiatives working across tourism, technology, trade, agribusiness and the creative economy to present their ideas to conference delegates, investors and industry leaders.
The programme will conclude with a closing plenary on commitments, deal flow and next steps, intended to identify practical follow-up actions and opportunities for collaboration arising from the three-day conference.
Commenting on the release of the agenda today, Emmanuel Treku, Executive Chairman and Convener of INTTA 2026, said the Expo is designed to go beyond conventional conference discussions by creating practical connections between investment opportunities, enterprise development and strategic partnerships.
“The release of the 2026 INTTA agenda is an important milestone as we prepare to bring together the people, institutions, ideas and capital that can help unlock Ghana’s tourism and wider economic potential.
“Our ambition is to position tourism as a strategic driver of investment, job creation, enterprise growth and regional development. Tourism does not operate in isolation. It connects hospitality, transport, agriculture, technology, real estate, culture, financial services and international trade. When these sectors work together, the opportunities for sustainable economic growth become much greater.
“This year’s programme is deliberately structured to encourage meaningful dialogue, showcase investment opportunities and create a pathway from ideas to bankable partnerships. We want businesses to meet investors, young entrepreneurs to connect with mentors and potential financiers, and public institutions to identify practical areas for collaboration.
“I therefore invite investors, tourism operators, business leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, young innovators, exhibitors, development partners and members of the Ghanaian diaspora to register and participate actively. Do not simply attend the Expo; come prepared to exhibit, network, pitch your ideas, explore investment opportunities and build partnerships that can deliver lasting value,” Mr Treku stated.
Hosting the main conference in Cape Coast also provides an opportunity to spotlight the Central Region’s tourism, cultural heritage and hospitality assets while encouraging investment in destination development.
The agenda includes a Cape Coast tourism and destination showcase, gastronomy tourism engagement, and a proposed investment-focused site visit highlighting opportunities in tourism infrastructure, cultural heritage development and coastal hospitality projects.
The wider investment programme also identifies site visits in Accra and the Savannah Region, providing an opportunity for participating delegates to explore opportunities beyond the conference venue. Arrangements and specific opportunities for these visits are subject to the program’s final coordination.
By bringing together tourism stakeholders with actors in agribusiness, digital technology, finance, infrastructure and trade, INTTA 2026 seeks to demonstrate how tourism can serve as a platform for cross-sector investment and enterprise development.
With the agenda now released, prospective participants are encouraged to complete their registration and make arrangements to attend the three-day programme at Ridge Royal Hotel, Cape Coast.
Investors and financial institutions are encouraged to engage with the Investment Pitch Sessions; businesses and tourism destinations can use the Expo to showcase products and services; and entrepreneurs, particularly young innovators, are invited to explore networking and partnership opportunities aligned with their ambitions.
Government agencies, metropolitan, municipal and district assemblies, trade associations, development partners, academia and international business networks are also encouraged to participate in the discussions and contribute to practical solutions for Ghana’s tourism and investment development.
