The Dallas Cowboys are 2-4 to open up the 2026 NFL season, dropping each of their last two games in primetime slots.
This brutal start to the year has resulted in questions regarding the team's leadership, starting with head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
When speaking with reporters on Thursday, Schottenheimer declared that he's going "roll up his sleeves" and "solve" the Cowboys' issues moving forward.
"Am I frustrated and pissed off? You’re damn right I am. But I’m gonna roll my sleeves up and I’m gonna go to work. And I’m gonna solve it," Schottenheimer said, via team reporter Jon Machota of The Athletic.
The Cowboys' current streak of losses began with a Week 5 defeat at the hands of undrafted rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This past weekend, the team fell to the Green Bay Packers in a "Sunday Night Football" clash at Lambeau Field.

...
Now, the Cowboys turn their attention toward a primetime "Monday Night Football" matchup against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7. The Eagles have been rocked by injury issues so far this season. So if Dallas isn't able to get the job done, Schottenheimer will have plenty more questions to answer.
Monday's game will kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET.
