NILAI: A 37-year-old man suspected of murdering his wife, a Malaysia Border Control and Protection Agency (MCBA) officer, at the KLIA Quarters on Oct 15 will be charged tomorrow.
Nilai police chief Superintendent Johari Yahya said the suspect would face a murder charge under Section 302 of the Penal Code at the Seremban magistrate's court tomorrow morning.
"Following instructions to charge, the suspect linked to the death of an MCBA officer earlier this month is expected to be charged tomorrow," he said when contacted today.
Norhazwani Ibrahim, 35, was reportedly found murdered at her home in the civil servants' residential quarters at about 7pm.
Her husband, who was recently released from prison for drug-related offences, surrendered at the Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi police station in Sepang, Selangor, shortly after the incident.
The suspected motive was a domestic dispute after Norhazwani sought a divorce, with the application reportedly filed while her husband was still in prison.
A post-mortem found that she died from neck compression. Stab wounds were also found on her abdomen and cheek.
