Hannah Chody’s hundreds of thousands of followers know she has a few great loves: designer bags (obviously), the alt milk so good she bought the company, and her adorable bulldogs, to name a few. But if there’s one thing she’s known for, above all, it may be her relentless search for the perfect peachy-pink eye shadow.
For the uninitiated: The Austin-based influencer was a devotee of Tom Ford Beauty’s Golden Peach shadow for years—that is, until the brand discontinued it. She decided to document her journey looking for a replacement on her socials, testing dozens of different products. “When I found out it was discontinued, I was like, I’m gonna start to try to find a dupe, and I might as well record it,” Chody tells Glamour. “The series blew up. It went so viral, I never expected it.”
Throughout her search, some shades came close, others not so much, but nothing was quite right. Then Saie came calling. “It was the most exciting text message of my life,” she says. With the brand’s help, Chody finally had her perfect peachy-pink: Bellini, now a permanent addition to Saie’s Super Suede Eyeshadow lineup.
Saie founder Laney Crowell says that teaming up with Chody was kismet, adding that when Chody’s followers started bringing the brand into the eye shadow conversation, they took notice. “What I love so much about this collaboration is that it was 100% community-led from day one,” she says. “Hannah had been searching for her dream rose-gold shade for over a year, testing over 50 products and bringing her followers along for every step.”
Bellini is available at Sephora globally—a pinch-me moment for Chody. “I would be the person who would accidentally have 20 things in my basket,” she says. “So to know that younger me could have been in Sephora discovering this product is just surreal.”

What is it about this shade specifically that made it so hard to replicate?
Hannah Chody: We probably did about 10 iterations or so to get the shade just right. Saie was developing their Super Suede Baked Eyeshadow, which is the formula that Bellini is, and so the formula was done. But it wasn’t until we went to Italy, and there were a couple shades ready as our starting point. After about 10 rounds, we got to the color, and that was a little over a year ago. So it’s been such a long time coming. I got the sample a month or so after Italy and I was like, Well, I’m going to start wearing it. It was a hard secret to keep, but it’s been my go-to. I love it.
What’s your go-to eye makeup look when wearing Bellini?
I joke that I’m all about the five-second eye. I swipe Bellini on, whether it’s with my finger or using the Saie eye shadow brush—the thicker side actually kind of mimics your finger, so it’s really easy to apply. It’s just a couple swipes of Bellini, and then mascara, and that is really my go-to. I love to keep it simple. With Bellini, even though I’m only using one color, it adds so much dimension, and it’s so buildable, so you can build a little bit more on the crease. It’s such a wearable shadow.
What about the rest of your makeup routine? What are you loving right now?
I love a Saie Glowy Super Gel as my base. That’s been my ride-or-die for so many years, whether it’s Sunglow in the summer or Warm Glow the rest of the year. And then, I love to do a medium-coverage foundation. I love the M.Ph Foundation that recently came out, and I’m big on bronzer. I love a bronzy makeup look overall. I’m kind of into neutral blushes right now too. I love a pop of pink, but I’ve been loving the beige plush trend.
What’s a beauty trend you’re really excited about right now?
I’m gonna go back to the antiblush trend. I never thought I would say it because blush is one of my favorite products, but I love just a swipe of neutral blush. Cutie from Saie is one of my favorites for a little bit of a deeper antiblush. It still has that dimension.

What’s a recent purchase you can’t wait to wear?
I live in Austin, so I recently got a couple fabulous coats that I’m very excited to break out once there is the slightest chill in the air. I got a very cool fur-trimmed brocade embroidered coat. It’s from Rixo; I preordered it so I can’t wait to wear it. I firmly believe that the coat makes the outfit.
What scent are you wearing right now?
Right now I am wearing Lore Lil’ Softie. It’s layered with Summer Fridays Sunlit Vanilla. Usually I’m not a gourmand girl, but I find that if you go to one or two spritzes, it’s amazing. I will say, my all-time signature favorite fragrance is Loewe Paula’s Ibiza Cosmic. It’s insane. It has, like, an amber fruity note. It’s really great.
