Speaking to The Standard, just days before the birth of Sonny, Dianne, who recently gave birth to her and Joe Sugg’s baby boy, had some kind words for her dancing partner.
“I feel like I'm just so excited for him. Because it wasn't that long ago that I was sort of living the sort of the same thing.”
Best then laughed as he said Buswell would give him some hand-me-downs from her own son, Bowden, born in March of this year.
Buswell agreed that she needed to pass on the clothes to him, before Best clarified: “Yes, but we do have others. It's not weird, you know.
“We're not relying solely on you,” he joked. “If he arrives and you haven't. ‘Sorry, mate, I know you're cold, but Diane, my dance partner, take it up with her’.”
Best also confirmed in a BBC interview that his son arrived on Sunday, October 11 morning, meaning Sonny was born just hours after the Strictly Come Dancing live show concluded.

The couple met on the BBC dancing show when they were paired during the 16th series in 2018.
They revealed they were expecting a baby together in an Instagram post last September.
