Four men have been arrested in connection with the shooting of 49ers defensive lineman Keion White back in February, the Associated Press reports.
On Feb. 9, White hosted a private Super Bowl party in a nightclub in San Francisco when he was later rushed to the local hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound to his ankle. Investigators utilized witness accounts as well as video footage to determine that several men allegedly “confronted” the defensive lineman with a firearm.
Law enforcement agencies in Atlanta, Georgia, and across several California cities, including Stockton, Irvine, and Los Angeles, aided in the arrest of the individuals, according to San Francisco Police Chief Derrick Lew.

Curtis Green was arrested in Irvine on Oct. 7, and on Oct. 9, authorities arrested Gregory Walker of Mountain House, California, for their alleged involvement in the shooting. Walker will be charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm — which prosecutors say he fired — as well as other charges for having a gun as a felon. As for Green, he is currently facing misdemeanor charges of brandishing a firearm and carrying a concealed and loaded gun in public, District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said. Prosecutors would not seek bail for Walker “due to the public safety risk,” according to Jenkins.
The men were booked into San Francisco County Jail on Monday and scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
At the time of this writing, the two other men arrested in other jurisdictions are not yet in local custody and have not been publicly identified.
Despite White having a tragic offseason he has been active in all five games and has had three sack so far this season as the 49ers continue their undefeated record. Next up for the 49ers is the matchup against the Washington Commanders at 8:15 pm ET on Oct. 19 at Levi Stadium.
