First, Union took the Nike Dunk around the world, dropping three impressive sneakers inspired by Chris Gibbs' favorite cities to cop gear. The Los Angeles brand has now loosened up the Nike Dunk, so much so that it turned into a mule.
Stick with me while I explain.
Union's newest Dunks feature a "boneless" suede upper that's so supple it collapses gracefully. Even the heel folds with ease, letting the sneaker transform into a slip-on. And if a Swoosh sneaker-mule isn't your mood for the day, you can still wear it as a normal Union Dunk, too.
The collaborative sneakers also feature a nice tonal "Bamboo" colorway that creates an even chiller vibe. Elsewhere, classic Union badges and its signature yellow stitching appear.

Union isn't afraid to take risks with its sneaker designs, which is good. Otherwise, we wouldn't have these classic Nikes and Jordans with clever twists. Over the years, the brand has surprised us with Jordan 4s with the flipped tongues, stitched-up Jordan 1s, and deconstructed Field Generals. And they're, for the most part, wrapped in nice faded vintage-style colorways.

And again, Union has worked on the Dunk before. In 2022, it released a "Passport Pack" featuring unraveling, ripstop Dunks that look like wearable maps.
This time, the brand's going easy on the Nike model — easy enough to slip on, at that.
Anywho, the Union x Dunk Low "Bamboo" sneaker is expected to drop sometime during the holiday season on Nike's website. And according to sneaker leakers, a second black colorway will also join the lineup.
