The recent episode of Rise and Fall Season 2 witnessed a double elimination as Sara Gurpal and Kajal Raghwani exited the show.
Three weeks into the Tower game, Niharika Tiwari and Shehzad Poonawalla’s latest face-off brought the Rs 5 lakh Prize Pot decision back under scrutiny. Shehzad questioned Niharika’s move, but Virender Sehwag turned the spotlight on him, pointing out that his own friends were in the Basement and questioning whether the other Rulers were calling Niharika out simply because it suited their game.
With blame seemingly following him at every turn, Shehzad declared himself ready to play the permanent villain. Karan Patel was pulled up over his promise to Priyanka Chahar Choudhary after choosing to save Jaswanth Bopanna, while Gautam Gulati’s strategy continued to leave the Tower guessing.
Kajal Raghwani, too, found herself under Sehwag’s scrutiny over her habit of carrying conversations from one contestant to another.
Aarush Bhola and Laila returned with a dose of comic relief. Their fun-filled game got the contestants talking, laughing, and trading playful jabs, but old rivalries were never too far away as Sara Gurpal and Priyanka reignited their feud.
Manish Kashyap, meanwhile, became the subject of some cheeky teasing about whether he missed Kaira, only to clarify that someone else was waiting for him outside. Sehwag added to the entertainment by asking Jaswant and Gautam to dance, with Jaswant choosing Niharika and Gautam picking Irina Rudakova.
Manish received encouraging messages from Manoj Tiwari and Ritesh Pandey, with Manoj backing his hopes of a takhta palat. Niharika got an unexpected dose of affection from Nayandeep, whose message reflected how their equation had evolved from rivals to friends. Akanksha Choudhary followed with warm wishes and advice, leaving Niharika emotional as she told her, “Meri teekhi mirchi…tu crazy kar rahi hai…. You are the main character of the show”.
The surprises continued for Priyanka, as Ekta Kapoor applauded her gameplay, saying, “Mein tumhe rise and fall mein dekh rahi hu and I want to say kya acha khel rahi ho tum…”.
Abhishek Malhan and Eisha Singh added their own messages of encouragement for the players, leaving Priyanka, Niharika and Manish visibly thrilled and emotional.
Sehwag switched gears, the celebrations stopped, and with Priyanka, Kajal, Sonam, Manisha and Sara nominated, the Workers faced an elimination that threatened to redraw the Basement’s already fragile equations.
Priyanka was the first to secure her place in the game, receiving the green signal after earning the most votes. Manish followed, saved by the audience and giving the Basement another reason to celebrate.
Kajal, Sara and Sonam were left at the mercy of the Rulers, and this time, two contestants had to go. The power to decide who stayed rested with those upstairs. The Rulers chose to save Sonam.
