Taylor Swift is still on a high from her lavish Madison Square Garden wedding in New York this July – and the newlywed joy doesn't stop at her husband, Travis Kelce.
The 36-year-old superstar was caught on camera giving her new mother-in-law Donna Kelce the biggest hug when she bumped into her at the Kansas City Chiefs game in Kansas City, Missouri, on Sunday.

Unable to hide her excitement, Taylor was pictured exclaiming in glee and flinging her arms around Travis' mother's neck. With a drink in one hand, the Fate of Ophelia singer appeared positively giddy as she shared a sweet moment with her in-law.
Rocking a red turtleneck sweater and her trademark scarlet lipstick, Taylor was ready to cheer on her husband's team as they took on the Los Angeles Chargers.
The pop princess was clearly Travis' lucky charm since the tight end, who is playing through an ankle injury, helped his team to a 22–6 victory and broke a major franchise milestone by becoming the Chiefs' all-time leader in career receptions.

Taylor has long been open about her close relationship with Travis' family, previously declaring that hanging out with them "feels like home".
The feeling is mutual, and Donna is a big Swiftie too, calling her daughter-in-law "extremely talented" and "loving".

She powered through a surprise four-song set including old classics like "Blank Space" and "Love Story" alongside the new Toy Story 5 theme "I Knew It, I Knew You" and her very first live performance of the hit single "The Fate of Ophelia".
The singer also stole the show on the red carpet, donning a custom pale ice-blue Dior gown designed by Jonathan Anderson, which fans have dubbed her "best look ever".

It's a love story, baby, just say yes
After two years of dating, Taylor and Travis announced their engagement via a joint Instagram post on August 26, 2025. The couple officially tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony held at Madison Square Garden in New York City in July.

Since her high-profile wedding, Taylor has stepped back somewhat to focus on her personal life and supporting Travis' 2026 NFL season.
However, she never rests for long, and recently dropped a deluxe edition of her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, featuring four brand new tracks produced with Martin and Shellback.
The new songs were unfortunately met with criticism from reviewers and fans alike, many of whom branded it an attempt to hack the charts and make a profit.
