Aman committed suicide after allegedly jumping from the canal bridge in the Garhi Shahu area on Sunday, police said. The deceased, identified as Khalil, was a resident of Sanda and an employee of Federal Board of Revenue.
According to police, he parked and locked his motorcycle on the bridge before jumping into the canal. A woman, identified as Azra, reported the incident. The body was shifted to the morgue for legal formalities, while police launched an investigation into the incident. Traffic on the canal underpass was restored about an hour after police completed their proceedings.
