Meet Michael and Susan Dell's 4 kids who stand to inherit incredible $278 billion fortune

Kira is more private than her three siblings and has largely opted out of the spotlight over the years, despite having a famous father.

Kira graduated from Vassar College in New York in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, and worked as a teacher before switching to the corporate world in 2017, per her LinkedIn.

She now works as the CEO of Adaptive Water in Austin, Texas.

While Juliette does post frequently on her social media account, she also stays under the radar, like her sister Kira.

According to Insider, Juliette completed a brief internship at Dell Technologies in 2016, and also interned at luxury brand Hermès, before pursuing her passion for horses and entering into the world of competitive horseback riding.

She married Commonwealth Sports CEO Chase Chamberlin in March 2024.

Michael and Susan's son Zach followed in his father's footsteps and entered the tech world after studying psychology and economics at the University of Southern California.

His passion for technology and business started early, and he founded the dating app Thread in 2013. The app was only available for students from the University of Texas to use, and had an emphasis on dating for love. "I heard 'no' a lot," he told Total Frat Move about the fundraising process for the app.

"Early on, it was tough to convince investors to roll the dice on an 18-year-old kid, but after a while, word started to spread that I was the real deal, and some of the top investors in the industry were willing to hop on board." While Michael didn't invest in Zach's company per his request, the duo are still "extremely close", as he told Silicon Hills News.

"When I started asking him about starting his business and what it meant to be an entrepreneur, he started telling me more and more. He would give me little lessons every time we were in the car and use real-world examples, like the Bernie Madoff scandal, to teach me about insider trading," he explained.

"What he understands is that for me to learn, I'm going to have to make a lot of mistakes. If I make a decision, he'll tell me what he thinks, but he will never tell me I have to change it. He's never invested a dime in my company, and he never will," Zach said.

"My mom is a very smart woman. She is an entrepreneur herself, and she wanted to invest immediately, but I knew I wouldn't be learning as much if she did. And it's been such a learning experience."

Zach later founded a billion-dollar company, Base Power, which installs battery systems inside people's homes to provide affordable and reliable energy.

Perhaps the most public of Michael and Susan's children is Alexa, who studied at Columbia University before dropping out in 2013 and becoming an advisor at Bumble, the dating app company.

At just 18, Alexa came under fire when she shared a photo of her brother Zach on a private plane, and the snap began to circulate on the Rich Kids of Instagram Tumblr site. Due to security concerns, Alexa and her brother deactivated their social media accounts for a time.

She now works as an advisor to The Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, as well as an investor. Alexa shared with Insider that the most important advice that her dad had bestowed on her was that "hard work is really the foundation of success".

The businesswoman got engaged to investor Arshia Harrison Refoua in 2017, and the pair welcomed their son, Lucien, in 2019. After their split, Alexa moved on with Rain CEO Frédéric Choquette in 2023. They married in March 2025, and welcomed a baby girl together in 2026. "We started riding together, and that's how our friendship formed," Alexa told Vogue of their blossoming romance.

"About six months later, I invited him to a surf competition for my friend's daughter, and watching him be so supportive of the kids in the water was the moment I started to see him differently. That's when I decided to give him a true shot. Fred, on the other hand, says he knew [I was the one] from day one!"
