Latvia's National Armed Forces (NBS) announced that as of 12:39, a possible threat to Latvian airspace was declared in the Krāslava and Rēzekne districts in the east of the country. The alert was then cancelled at 13:16.
Mobile phone messages were sent to those in the affected areas saying "The National Armed Forces of Latvia inform of possible air threats in Latvian airspace. No further action is required at this time. If the situation escalates, you will be informed by a notification."
