TS Galaxy coach and former Bafana Bafana star Bernard Parker has stunned soccer fans after releasing a public statement on Monday, 12 October 2026, announcing his split from Serbian-born businesswoman Kacha Stepanovic and acknowledging a three-year romantic relationship with her.
The 40-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder stated that he and Stepanovic were co-parenting six children together. In the statement, Parker extended an apology to Stepanovic, with the wording widely interpreted as an admission of infidelity. Reports have also emerged that Parker fathered a child with her.
Where Is Wendy Parker?
The disclosure left many fans asking about Parker's wife, Wendy Parker, who wed the footballer in a 2012 ceremony held in Ballito. The wedding was featured on the television programme Top Billing.
Wendy, who previously appeared on the reality series Diski Divas, remains active on Instagram under the handle @Mrs\_WParker. Her recent posts show her at the gym and alongside her two sons, whom she shares with Bernard. Her last public post featuring her husband dates to March 2024, while a post from a few months earlier carried the caption: "Me and you till the end of time."
Bernard, for his part, has removed all traces of Wendy from his own Instagram profile. It remains unclear exactly when the couple's marriage broke down.
A Relationship Built Over Two Decades
Parker and Wendy's story stretches back to the late 2000s, when they met at a sports retail store where she worked as a manager. Their first son, Skye, was born in 2005, followed by a second son, Storm, in 2011. The couple married the following year in Ballito before their relationship appeared to unravel quietly over the years that followed.
By October 2026, Parker's public statement confirmed that a separate three-year relationship with Stepanovic had been ongoing, bringing the timeline of events into sharp focus for fans who had long assumed the former footballer remained happily married.
