KUALA LUMPUR: NCT Alliance Bhd has received the Preferred Industrial Park (PIP) certificate from Invest Selangor, recognising its role in supporting the state's industrial development through its flagship NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP).
NCT Alliance said the recognition reinforces its commitment to developing quality industrial parks and attracting high-impact investments to Selangor.
The certificate was presented during the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2026.
NCT Alliance executive chairman and group managing director Datuk Seri Yap Ngan Choy said the certification reflected the company's strong partnership with Invest Selangor and its commitment to meeting the evolving needs of investors and businesses.
"We look forward to building on this partnership to attract more investments, forge stronger industry connections and contribute to the continued growth of South Selangor as a key economic growth corridor," said Yap.
Spanning about 910 acres, NSIP has a gross development value (GDV) of RM10.2 billion and is positioned as Malaysia's largest GreenRE-certified environmental, social and governance (ESG) managed industrial park.
The development incorporates artificial intelligence, Internet of Things technology, data analytics and automation, alongside smart and sustainable solutions under its managed industrial park model.
NCT Alliance said the country's first Managed Industrial Park (MIP) recently completed the vacant possession handover for Phase 1.
This was followed by the launch of KM2 in Phase 2, which is targeted for completion in 2029.
The company is also planning to launch the Smart Commercial Hub within NSIP in early 2027, with registrations expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
At SIBS 2026, NCT Alliance also showcased its second industrial park development, NCT Innosphere (NIS).
NIS is located on 55.44 hectares of free-zone land within the Delapan Special Border Economic Zone in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah.
Developed in partnership with Northern Gateway Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Minister of Finance Inc, NIS has an estimated GDV of RM1.10 billion and has secured provisional Silver GreenRE certification.
The development comprises eight phases offering 230 industrial units, including terrace, cluster, semi-detached and detached factories, as well as build-to-suit options.
NIS is also preparing to launch its commercial hub in the fourth quarter of 2026, further expanding the facilities available to businesses operating within the industrial park.
