Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Ministry of Transport announced on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, the postponement of the Iraq International Transport, Logistics, and Airports Exhibition and Conference (ITL Iraq Expo).
According to an official ministerial statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the specialized international gathering has been rescheduled to take place from November 25 to 27, 2026, aligning directly with observances for World Sustainable Transport Day.
The ministry explained that the high-profile trade exhibition is structured to host extensive representation across state transit authorities and public enterprises, operating in direct coordination with domestic and international private firms specializing in overland trucking, maritime shipping, civil aviation, freight handling, and integrated logistics solutions.
The convention will gather senior government dignitaries, commercial stakeholders, investors, and technical delegates representing specialized supply-chain sectors to explore Iraq’s expanding transit corridor infrastructure.
The event agenda includes a dedicated strategic conference examining sustainable transport paradigms, alongside technical symposiums featuring regional and global logistics specialists.
The ministerial leadership highlighted that the platform is designed to facilitate technical knowledge transfer, cultivate public-private investment partnerships, and outline modern modernization strategies for Iraq’s national transit grid to expand its contribution to sustainable domestic economic growth.
