65-year-old elderly woman dies after SUV crash in Taytay, Rizal

A 65-year-old woman died after being hit by an SUV in Taytay, Rizal.

The elderly fatality was chatting with her neighbors outside a house in Brgy. Dolores when the SUV suddenly crashed into them, according to a report by GMA News' Gabriel Gonzales on Sunday.

Another woman who was just passing by was also hurt.

The impact heavily damaged the gate of the house and the vehicle's hood.

Police investigation showed that the SUV driver lost control of the brakes, causing him to crash into the gate.

The elderly woman later died due to head injuries.

Also hurt were the SUV driver and his two passengers, including a minor.
