PARIS — Puig’s third-quarter sales reached 1.39 billion euros, up 7.2 percent on a reported basis, spurred by all regions, as well as fragrance and makeup.
Sales in the three months ended Sept. 30 gained 5.6 percent on a like-for-like basis, the Spanish beauty and fashion company reported after market close Wednesday.
Puig registered like-for-like growth in all categories and regions in the first nine months of 2026, when sales reached 3.75 billion euros. And the group reiterated its outlook for full-year 2026.
“I’m pleased with our strong and consistent delivery in the first nine months of 2023,” said José Manuel Albesa, chief executive of Puig, in a statement. “Momentum was broad across business segments and regions.
“Asia-Pacific, niche fragrances, dermocosmetics and makeup were particularly strong, delivering double-digit growth, alongside continued healthy growth in fragrance and fashion,” he said.
Currency fluctuations had a 0.7 percent impact on reported sales in the nine months, particularly due to changes in the value of the U.S. dollar. In the third quarter, exchange rate changes had a positive effect on sales by 1.7 percent, also due to the U.S. dollar.
In the nine months, makeup was Puig’s fastest-growing business segment, with sales up 12 percent on an organic basis and 10.4 percent in reported terms to 270 million euros.
The Asia-Pacific region was Puig’s strongest region. Its sales gained 17.9 percent on a like-for-like basis and 17 percent in reported terms to 430 million euros.
Puig maintained its outlook for 2026, when it expects to outperform the premium beauty market on an organic basis and anticipates adjusted EBITDA margins will remain stable, in line with full-year 2025.
Puig is hosting its first Capital Markets Day on Oct. 28 in Madrid, during which it will outline priorities for the next phase of company growth.
