The Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged registered pilgrims to pay their second instalment for Hajj 2027 by October 20. Tuesday marks the final deadline for payments under the government’s Hajj scheme. Pilgrims who miss the deadline risk cancellation of their applications.
According to the ministry’s spokesperson, around 97,000 intending pilgrims have deposited their second instalment so far. Total payments through the National Information Technology Board’s digital Hajj portal have reached Rs61 billion. The ministry has asked all remaining applicants to complete their payments promptly.
Payment records show that 45,245 pilgrims paid through One Link. Meanwhile, 3,685 people used debit or credit cards to deposit their dues. Another 47,563 pilgrims submitted their payments through bank challans. These figures reflect the payment methods used by registered applicants.
Pilgrims who have not yet paid can use the NITB’s Hajj portal or the Pak Hajj mobile application. However, they must complete the process within the announced deadline to avoid possible cancellation. The ministry has stressed the importance of following the official payment schedule.
In addition to payment requirements, the ministry has made medical examinations mandatory for all intending pilgrims. Applicants must download the medical fitness certificate from the Hajj portal. They must then obtain verification from a registered doctor before uploading the completed certificate back to the portal.

With the second instalment deadline falling on October 20, the ministry has urged outstanding applicants to act without delay. Timely payment remains essential for maintaining their Hajj applications under the government scheme.
