CHITWAN, Oct 12: Jeep Safari has been resumed from October 9 in Chitwan National Park. This service to the tourists visiting the national park was suspended since July 1 with the start of the monsoon rains.
Jeep safari has started after repairing the roads inside the park damaged by the rain. The park's information officer, Avinash Thapa Magar, said that the jeep safari was started once the roads damaged by floods during the rainy season were repaired and work like removing fallen trees and clearing bushes was completed.
He said it took time to open the jungle safari because the flood that occurred in the last week of September damaged the jungle safari routes.
