Uzbekistan’s Migration Agency has announced a recruitment competition for truck drivers seeking employment in Germany, offering a monthly salary of €1,800 after tax before their professional qualifications are recognized.
The competition is being organized in cooperation with RecruitMed, with candidates to be selected through interviews, the agency’s press service reported.
Applicants must hold category C and CE driving licenses and have at least two years of professional driving experience. Candidates must generally be no older than 40, although the age limit is extended to 45 for drivers holding a Schlüsselzahl 95 (Code 95) certificate.
Successful candidates will receive six months of free German-language training in Tashkent. Classes will take place five days a week, for four hours each day.
Participants will also be provided with free accommodation and assistance with finding employment in Germany.
The monthly salary is set at €1,800 after tax until the driver's professional qualifications are recognized. The agency's announcement states that wages will increase following recognition, although it does not specify the revised amount.
Selection interviews are scheduled for November 6 and 10, 2026. Interested candidates can register through the Migration Agency’s recruitment portal.
In May, the Migration Agency also announced 50 vacancies in Munich, Germany, in the transport and logistics sector, with monthly salaries ranging from €2,000 to €3,000. The positions included locomotive drivers, raw-material loading operators and warehouse logistics employees.
