The civilian version of the BBC gameshow started in 2022, while we were treated to our first celebrity edition last year. This season, the casting team has managed to get comedians like Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, legends like Richard E. Grant and Jerry Hall, and TV stars like Myha'la and Maya Jama on the same call sheet.
One person who feels like a real booking victory is Leigh-Anne Pinnock, a former member of Little Mix, which for many years was the biggest girl band in the world. She has been cast as a Faithful in season two (so far) and seems to be successfully flying under the radar. For those who aren't familiar with Leigh-Anne's career, here's the lowdown.
Who is Leigh-Anne Pinnock?
Leigh-Anne Pinnock is a singer and actress from High Wycombe in the UK. She rose to fame on The X Factor in 2011 when she was put in the girlband Little Mix – they became the first group ever to win the show.
The group won three Brit Awards and had 19 top-ten singles and five number ones during their time together. They went on hiatus in 2022 (band-speak for 'broke up'?). Since 2023, Leigh-Anne has been focusing on her solo career, releasing songs 'Don't Say Love' and 'My Love'. In 2024, the singer released her debut EP, No Hard Feelings, and in February she released a solo album, My Ego Told Me To, which reached number three in the charts.

Yes, Leigh-Anne is married to professional footballer Andre Gray, who she met in Marbella in 2016. The couple moved in together in 2018 and got engaged in 2020. They got married in Jamaica in 2023.
